Fire Companies

Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company #1 - One of three fire companies that provide fire and rescue services to the Municipality on a 100% volunteer basis. Established in 1927, the company operates a 100’ tower ladder, a heavy rescue, an engine, and a service truck.

Franklin Regional Lacrosse Club

The Franklin Regional Lacrosse Club (est. 1989) gives students the opportunity to play the fastest growing sport in North America. Lacrosse is offered from Elementary school (grade 3 for boys, grade 5 for girls) through High School. The Lacrosse season primarily runs March-May. Friends of Murrysville Parks (FOMP) works to build community knowledge and appreciation of the natural resources within Murrysville’s parks, and encourage stewardship of those resources. Kiwanis Club of Murrysville

Although we are a small group, we do many big things! Our organization proudly sponsors “Flags Over Murrysville”. You will see our American flags proudly lining both sides of our Route 22 corridor on many holidays and special events throughout the year. We also support many local charities, give scholarships, and sponsor school and community outreach. Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry

Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry, located at Newlonsburg Presbyterian Church, 4600 Old William Penn Highway, Murrysville, is a non-profit community pantry that meets immediate hunger needs for those in our area. Individuals call 724-327-0061 for help. Need is the criteria; nobody is turned away. We are supported by local contributions.

Medic One - Ambulance Service

Murrysville Area Soccer Association (MASA)

MASA is a youth soccer league comprised of children aged 4 through 18. Our primary objective is to provide a fun and rewarding soccer experience for every child, while teaching teamwork, dedication, and developing soccer skills. Murrysville Area Women's Tennis League

Women over 18 years of age are invited to join our group of players for matches played at any community park, high school or private courts. Murrysville Community Library

The Murrysville Community Library provides services, resources and programs to support life-long learning and the evolving information needs of residents. The Library is a member of the Westmoreland Information Network and participates in ACCESS PA, a statewide interlibrary program.

Murrysville Garden Club

The Garden Club promotes love of gardening, conservation of national resources, and civic beautification. Murrysville Historical Society

The Murrysville Historical Preservation Society is focused on educating residents about the rich history of the area by providing lectures from local historians/authors and by seeking and refurbishing historically significant structures. Membership is $15.00/year or $100.00 for a life membership. Murrysville Junior Garden Club, Earth Team

Murrysville Junior Garden Club, Earth Team in the Classroom supplements the science curriculum and is conducted by Murrysville Garden Club members. The Murrysville Lions Club is part of the world’s largest service organization with over 1.3 million members throughout 205 countries and geographic areas. The Club has been serving others since 1951 with activities that benefit the community and fundraisers for sight-saving research - all driven by the SightFirst program.

Murrysville Meals on Wheels

Building trails to strengthen our community, the Murrysville Trail Alliance hosts activities promoting the development, maintenance, and use of trails in Murrysville. Sardis Park

Sardis Park is the only volunteer owned and maintained park in Murrysville. There are two furnished pavilions with electricity, two ball fields, multiple playground areas with playground equipment, and is a great place for your family reunions and picnics. Westmoreland Conservancy

The Westmoreland Conservancy (www.westmorelandconservancy.org) has over the past 20 years (1991 – present) been responsible for the preservation of over 300 acres of green space in Murrysville beginning with the Lillian Kellman Nature Reserve, which is now part of the Murrysville Parks system. Westmoreland Conservancy is an all-volunteer, non-profit, 501c-3 Corporation dedicated to acquiring and preserving rural and rustic lands for the public good. Monthly meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday each month in the Municipal Meeting Room by the Murrysville Library.
