Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company #1 - One of three fire companies that provide fire and rescue services to the Municipality on a 100% volunteer basis. Established in 1927, the company operates a 100’ tower ladder, a heavy rescue, an engine, and a service truck.

The Murrysville Historical Preservation Society is focused on educating residents about the rich history of the area by providing lectures from local historians/authors and by seeking and refurbishing historically significant structures. Membership is $15.00/year or $100.00 for a life membership. Meetings are held on the third Monday of every month from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Murrysville Community Center, 3091 Carson Avenue (two blocks from Route 22 - William Penn Highway).
