Road Maintenance - provides road maintenance within the right-of-ways for 142 miles of municipal roads. Continual service is provided to residents in the way of the following maintenance activities:

• Patching roads and pot holes
• Crack sealing
• Mowing and brushing road sides
• Repair of street lights and signs
• Storm sewer maintenance
• Snow removal

Parks Maintenance - Public Works is responsible for maintenance of:

• 8 ball fields
• 3 soccer fields
• 2 lacrosse/midget football fields
• 7 pavilions
• 4 tennis and basketball courts
• The William Funk Bikeway and numerous walking trails

The Department maintains a fleet of 14 vehicles equipped with plows and salt spreaders. Normal response time to apply salt to all streets maintained by the municipality is 4 hours. State-owned roads for which the Municipality contractually provides snow removal service includes Logan Ferry Road.
