The Municipality of Murrysville is proud of its excellent schools. The Franklin Regional School District provides public education for those students residing in Murrysville, Export and portions of the Delmont community. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has consistently ranked the school district among the top performing districts in the Commonwealth as reported in the Pennsylvania Department of Education’s District Report Card. The District boasts a 99% graduation rate and has consistently exceeded the State averages for student performance in math and reading with each school in the District receiving a Keystone Award for each year the award has been distributed.  

 

Mother of Sorrows is a private Catholic school in Murrysville providing education from early childhood to the eighth grade.  Mother of Sorrows students have exceeded national norms in math and reading on the Stanford Achievement Tests.
