Responsibility
The Information Technology Advisory Committee is responsible for providing
leadership in recommending guidelines to ensure the quality and
service of municipal communication outlets including:
- Community Access (Channel 19) and electronic bulletin
board
- Municipal website and Information Technology
- Planning and implementation of community awareness and information
campaigns.
The Committee will provide guidance in all facets of media communication,
including programming and adequacy of production/distribution capabilities.
The Committee will provide guidance in Information Technology including
LANs (Local Area Networks), WANs (Wide Area Networks), servers,
computers, and printers.
Members should have skills in communication and mass media, electronics
and media production, Internet site operations, communications equipment
and design, community affairs, entertainment, and overall interest
and enthusiasm for the community.
Meetings
The Information Technology Advisory Committee will meet on the
third Monday of the month as advertised, at 6:00 p.m. at the Municipal
Building at 4100 Sardis Road, Murrysville,
