Murrysville's Comprehensive Recreation, Park and Open Space Plan
Murrysville completed in 2000 a new Plan for Recreation, Parks and Open Space intended to cover the next ten - fifteen years. The Plan was accepted and approved by Council.

Park Master Plans
Murrysville started preparation late in year 2000 of master plans for the new 250 acre property off Pleasant Valley Rd, and for Townsend Park. The master plans which will guide development of these parks are expected to be completed in 2001.
