Red Hot Robots |
Red Hot Robots: A session of fun with amazing robots! Learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool re-hot robots. Discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. Use your skills to build your very own working robot to take home with you! |
Fizz, Boom, Bang |

Fizz, Boom, Bang: Shake up a flask of fun in the lab as a junior chemist! This hands-on and interactive program of chemistry is packed solid with cool reactions. Students put on googles and change liquid to solid and back again. They get to handle laboratory tools, build and break molecules, and pick up some tricks on chemical changes. |

Class Details:
Come out to celebrate the official first day of summer. We'll play, sing, make nature crowns and art, and welcome the new season! Family and friends are welcome. Mud, Sticks, and Sunshine: Summer "Tinkergarten" Communication Series |
Class Details:
This summer, we’ll be filling the days with joyful, hands-on group play, with lessons designed to boost kids’ communication skills! With our “Camp Tinkergarten” theme, every lesson captures kids’ imagination, connects kids to nature, and boosts their social communication skills. To kids? It’s pure fun! Ready, Set, Run! 5K |

Have you ever wanted to run a whole 5K? Well, this is your chance! Join Coaches Jim and Susie to learn how to safely train to run a 5K in this non-competitive training camp, we guarantee you'll have fun all summer long! The camp with conclude with all participants actually running a full 5K. This camp is sponsored by Pro Bike + Run and presented in conjunction with the National Alliance for Youth Sports. |

Townsend Park's Small Fry Scramble is a non-competitive FUN run for children ages 12 and under with half-mile, one-mile, or two-mile course options. Volunteers will be cheering along the courses so that all runners are supervised during the entire event. Parents are welcome to run along with their child. Ever wondered what it would be like to live as an actual pioneer? Join us for Pioneer for a Day and learn all about cooking, herbal medicine, weaving/spinning, gunsmithing, candle making, and more! You’ll even get to experience what it was like to attend class in an 1800’s replica one-room schoolhouse! With Westmoreland County celebrating its 250th Anniversary in 2023 the Murrysville Historical Preservation Society wants the youth to experience this unique program and remember our history! |
