John and his wife, Kim Anderson, an accounting professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, moved to Murrysville in 1995. John and Kim have two daughters, Meg and Stella, who have grown up in Murrysville and have frequently taken advantage of the wonderful parks that Murrysville has to offer. Kim frequently took the girls to the various parks for play dates when they were young, and they all witnessed the growth and development of Murrysville Community Park during soccer-playing days.
