To the Residents of the Municipality of Murrysville

It is with great pleasure I present to you the Mayor's six-month report. Outlined in the report are highlights of each department's activities. We have welcomed two new employees, Michael Nestico as Chief Administrator and Jacie Milchak as Finance Director.

As covered in the report, activities have really started to pick up after the COVID shutdown. There were forty-one new housing starts during the first six months of the year. The Municipality has not seen this number of new starts since the early 1990's. The budget for road paving has increased and work will begin in the coming weeks. New hires and promotions have taken place in the police department. Winter road maintenance by the Public Works Department was first rate and the Recreation Department kicked off its summer programs.

The administrative staff take pride in serving the residents of Murrysville and works hard to meet your expectations. Please feel free to contact Mayor Synan at anytime throughout the year. The Municipal staff is here to serve you and welcome the open communication. Mayor Synan can be reached 724-327-2100 ext. 107, or email at rsynan@murrysville.com
