Pittsburgh's Impact on the World

The Murrysville Recreation Department and Murrysville Community Library are partnering together again to bring "Pittsburgh's Impact on the World", presented by the Senator John Heinz History Center to the Murrysville community. Take a look at innovations that have touched the world that sprouted from the curious minds of Pittsburghers. This program will take place on Monday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. at the Murrysville Municipal Building, Council Chambers located at 4100 Sardis Road, Murrysville, PA 15668. Those interested in attending must register here through the libraries calendar of events or call the library at 724-327-1102. Murrysville Seniors Halloween Party

Each Halloween the Murrysville Recreation Department provides the entertainment for the Murrysville Seniors Halloween Party. This year multiple partygoers got to participate in "Lets Make a Deal". Many won a variety of prizes during the multiple rounds played. Some prizes were donated by the William Penn Care Center and Master Caruso of Murrysville's ATA Martial Arts. We'd like to thank those that donated prizes, Mayor Synan, Representative Bob Brooks, and Senator Joe Pittman who provided monetary donations that sponsored the lunch for the party, and members of the Murrysville Parks and Recreation Commission and Municipality who assisted in serving the lunch and facilitating the games.

A Reading of "The Polar Express" and "A Visit From St. Nicholas"

Experience the "The Polar Express" and "A Visit From St. Nicholas" in your favorite pajamas with hot chocolate and cookies. Each child will get their very own train ticket. This cozy storytime is something you won't want to miss with your family. Don't forget your blankets and slippers! This program will take place on Wednesday, December 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Murrysville Community Center located at 3091 Carson Ave. Murrysville, PA 15668. Registration is required. Register here.
